The Legal Things...

As a small business, we strive to  balance  our commitment to our customers with the need to protect our investment of time, energy and finances.  We aim to be clear about our responsibilities to our clients as well as our expectations while providing our services.  Below are our policies regarding payment, custom goods, and abandoned property.

Riders on the Beach

Purchases | Returns | General Policies

ALL SADDLE SALES ARE FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE.

ALL PERSONALIZED ITEM SALES ARE FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE.  

 

  • Returns on non-personalized, custom built tack & leather goods are subject to a 25% restocking fee. 

  • All fees must be paid in full prior to custom goods being released.

  • Full payment for custom orders must be made within 21 days of job completion unless prior written arrangements have been made.  

  • Deposits for custom work will be forfeit if the item is not fully paid for within 21 days of completion.  In this case, the custom item will become the property of Leaning Oak Leathercraft, LLC and may be used or sold at our discretion.

  • REPAIRS MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 60 DAYS OF THE NOTIFICATION OF COMPLETION.  IF NOT PICKED UP, THEY WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF LEANING OAK LEATHERCRAFT BY DEFAULT AND MAY BE SOLD OR DISPOSED OF AT OUR DISCRETION.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Horseback riding is a dangerous sport.

Leaning Oak Leathercraft cannot oversee the correct care,

consistent maintenance and proper usage of any of our products or repairs. 

Therefore, we retain no liability for any injuries that may occur during the use of our products.
